• Actively pursue and maintain relationships with clients. Sales currently valued at $7,500 since the beginning of the academic year (mid-August 2019).

• Recruited and supervise a team of six Account Executives to ensure multimedia sales growth/goals for The Appalachian that reaches online, print, and broadcast news consumers in Watauga County.

• Lead two business office meetings a week to improve Account Executive’s skills, including interpersonal and online communication skills, product knowledge, and application/software proficiency.

• Facilitate weekly distribution of print newspapers, manage all pick-up rate data and serve as a leader for The Appalachian News Organization to increase out-reach/audience engagement by the means of pick-up rate, social media and website traffic.

• Implemented staff-wide policy that improved a guaranteed 15% improved weekly pick-up rate.
